1-Port ATM Enhanced OC3c/STM-1 Multi-mode Port Adapter PA-A3-OC3MM


The enhanced Cisco® PA-A3-OC3MM ATM port adapter is a new generation of single-wide, single-port ATM port adapters available on Cisco 7200 series routers, Cisco 7500 series routers, and Cisco 7000 series routers with the 7000 Series Route Switch Processor (RSP7000) and 7000 Series Chassis Interface (RSP7000CI). The PA-A3-OC3MM port adapters include five hardware versions that support the following standards-based physical interfaces:
• DS3/E3 or OC-3c/STM1 multi-mode
• OC-3c/STM-1 single-mode intermediate reach
• OC-3c/STM-1 single-mode long reach
The PA-A3-OC3MM port adapters support all Cisco IOS features and ATM-specific features available in Release 11.1(18)CC except for the available bit rate.
